***Updated March 17, 2020***
Our highest priority has always been for the safety and well-being of our patients and families. We are receiving updated information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA) regarding the recent spread of COVID-19.
Based on the latest recommendations, both our South Jordan and Tooele offices will treat patients who have urgent or emergency dental needs only.
For all patients who fall into this category, we would ask that you support us in our efforts by taking the following actions:
- Only bring children for whom you have appointments.
- Remain with your child during the check-up appointment or restorative treatment so as to maintain adequate distance from other patients and families in the office.
- Bring a book or personal electronics for use while waiting.
We will continue to follow the highest standards for sterilization and disinfection in our offices. As recommended by the ADA, we will temporarily remove toys and magazines from the waiting rooms as a precaution.
If you have travelled internationally or to high-risk areas or if you or any family members have signs or symptoms of a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 and you have a dental emergency, please call our office and discuss your personal case with our doctor before coming in.
The recommendation for these temporary measures extends through the next three weeks. We anticipate our offices will resume our regular business hours Monday, April 6, 2020.
Thank you for your support!
Dr. Roth, Dr. Farnsworth, and our Southridge Pediatric Dental Team
